Tamed Hatch glum, cycle, after cycle

Help, please!

I wanna breed stone hatches but my hatches are constantly glum.
They are not overcrowded, they have a full critter dispenser.
Is this still a bug?

Do you have a grooming station for them?
And a Dupe with the right skill?

They need to be groomed at a grooming station to get rid of glumness.

Yes, I have a fully skilled Dupe with Critter Ranching 2

Yes, I set my prio's right, only that one dupe should be doing the grooming but the Dupe simply doesn't wanna do that if the Hatchlet is feeling down.

Try setting the priority of the grooming station itself to 9.
And make sure the Dupe's only priority with two up arrows is ranching.

If that doesn't work click on the Dupe and use the 'move to location' thing and make them go to the room with the station, then seal the door.

Are your grooming station & hatch actually in a "stable" type room?

Yes, they are in the designed stable room. I will try this option out now @ Russel

The problem got solved, I simply deconstructed and rebuild the Grooming Station. Maybe it was a bug afterall, but the problem has been solved. The Dupe now take cares of the hatches

I had the same problem. The rancher just kept calling the hatch over but they would never come. rebuilding the groom station fixed it.

Increase the Ranching priority on your ranchers job priorities. You should do this for all your specialists.
