If you have a bottle emptier, one situation that could happen is the dupes might start transfering water from one reservoir to another, which might not be what you want. Welcome to The Game!

Can you please provide a picture? I clicked a pump and I saw no priorities in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
I also pressed P and saw no numbers above either pitcher pump.
Maybe you are talking about any number of other buildings that normally work this way, but I cannot do so with a pitcher pump.
That sounds rather complicated. Is there a way to do it based on priority like use the closest reservoir? I think that's what I'm really looking for, a "use closest pitcher" command because it's annoying when they use a pitcher that's farther away.
Maybe I didn't word it quite right; I have reservoir A and I have reservoir B. Reservoir B is close to ice makers, but my dupes took water from reservoir A to till the icemakers. What is the way around this, but also allows them to take from reservoir A when it makes sense?
The only way I control dupe movement is with doors and general base planning. There is no way to link a pump to specific structures.
If you can't answer the original question just say so, don't pretend it's my fault you can't answer it.
Unfortunately what if I want them to use the pumps smartly not just ignore one all the time; if I wanted them to ignore one of them all the time I would just delete the pump to begin with.
