Liquid stacking weirdly
Am I the only one having issue with the way the water is stacking ?
I tend to have layers of salty water and polluted water/water that form everywhere.
Each layer has almost no density (you can wipe them if there is a floor) and enough layers can form to fill huge portion of the map. It prevent machine from working (flooded) or liquid to flow properly.

Is this a known issue ? or I'm having a weird experience ?

i don't know what causes that, but thats one of the reasons you should never mix liquids. only exception i can think of is liquid locks where you can mix 2 liquids safely

Well i try not to but that's the bottom of the map (and i had clean several layers by wiping when this screen was taken)
i'm playing the frozen map so some stuff melt eventually and end up there.

Salt water / clean water stacking is on Klei's bug tracker (But they haven't said if it is intended or not). The issue is that salt water and clean water have the same density in-game, so salt water doesn't sink to the bottom and you get layers with only a few grams.

Yeah with icy rime astroid it's super easy to get mixed lakes. There's ice everywhere of different materials and all it takes is one or two stacks of mined ice to reach melting point on the map for it to explode into areas you never wanted it to. I've liked the interesting challenges it makes, but ive flooded my base on accident a couple times.
