How do you cool hot hydrogen from vent?
Every youtube video I find about taming and cooling hydrogen vents with their 500 degree outputs use wheezeworts before they were nerfed out of pots.

How do you get that hot hydrogen cooled off for storage or use?

The nullifier that tends to exist in ice biomes. When fed with hydrogen, it will eventually drop temps to -183C. Combined with radiant pipes will high heat transfer rates and you got a super cold pipes you can send to where you need cooling.

Well its no where near the nullifier on my map, how do you move 500 degree gas that far.

You can use petroleum (538C vaporisation) as a coolant and dump heat into steam turbine.

Well first off is don’t remove the resources around the vent/geyser until you have the system built to cool it off set up. The environment can act as a temp cooler for it until it’s chamber is capped at 5kg. Once you are have the chamber and cooling system set up, begin extracting the gases to move towards the nullifier.

Put some diamond glass tiles or metal tiles above it. Then some water, then insulated tiles, then a steam engine.

Now the h2 will be kept in such temperature that a steel pump can survive. Place a pump next to the vent and pump the h2 through the water room below the insulated tiles and above the diamond/metal tiles.

When it comes out it will be around 130°.

From there you can take it wherever you are using it.
