Gas pumps made from ore only? [Solved]
I could have sworn there was a point where you could make them out of refined metal. Now how am I supposed to use my 150c natural gas geyser, if the highest temp you can pump is 125.

EDIT: There was a bug where the game was not seeing the steel I made. Fixed

Use steel gas pumps. You can use steel in both refined metal buildings and metal ore buildings.

Besides refined metal doesn't change the overheat temperature in anyways. The type of metal is what change it and steel will give you +200C extra overheat temp

I have refined metal but it's not an option in the building menu

You can't building gas pumps out of refined metal except for steel, nobium, and thermium. Once you discover steel it will popup in the options for gas pumps.

was 125° the default overheat temperature? if yes try gold amalgam which adds +50°C to overheat.

otherwise you gotta introduce cooling in some form to the room.

right away i can think off 3 options for cooling:
-pumping water into the room: liquids take a lot more heat than gases and therefore should cool down the room
-cooling loop: reduces the rooms temperature by shifting the heat onto another medium which you then can try and cool down somewhere else
-'passiv coolblocks' add sealed room on one side with wheezeworts and filled with hydrogen. this should remove heat over time and is relativly easy to keep working (due to the chances in the launch upgrade youll need phosphorite for irrigation for the Wheezes)

Default is 75C. 125C is what you get when built with gold amalgam which includes the 50C overheat already.

Make a loop from radiant pipes and cool it with water. I am exchanging coolant when it's germs free, because I have a lot of germy polluted water geysers, but you can do this based on the temperature.

Just use steel, it has an overheat of +200

nat gas geysers produce such low mass that 150 instantly cools down to like 30 like legit its a non issue
