Clean germy water solution
Chlorine comes to mind for cleaning 'clean water with germs' (not polluted water) and that assumption was validated by a Skye Storm video I saw however I have a few questions.

1. could one put a storage container filled with Bleach Stone inside the water and give it time?
2. could a room filled with germy water but also clorine floating at the top kill it over time?
3. Skye put at Liquid Reservoir inside a clorine room and circulated it with a filter until it was clean. I wonder if given time the circulation phase would even be needed. maybe just put it in the Reservoir and leave it alone for a few cycles. or maybe one cant tell with the info pane that its clean. I dont know.

thoughts?

1 and 2: No, gases and water never mix. The bleach stone in liquid will never offgas.

3. There are numerous ways to do this. In general any germs left in chlorine using a tank will die in 1 cycle. Because germs can get stuck in the piping between tanks it can be a little problematic but not enough germs to be dangerous.

Before we got the liquid and fluid tanks I tried purification of water with liquid chlorine, all I succeeded in making was a wave pool. Cool to watch but worthless.

1. No. Things like bleach stone don't off gas under water or in a storage bin under water.
2. No. It's been tested and doesn't seem to work.
3. Yes this works. Some people use germ sensors, some use a clock sensor.

This all said, why do you need to rid it of germs? Seems like most people who got gud don't bother, the only thing germy water is bad for is making food and gud players don't make the kinds of food that would use water.

There's also other options besides chlorine, FP only survives between -25 to 75 °C, you can either cool or heat the water beyond this range and kill the FP.
If you pipe all the water to a liquid container, after full, 5t of water, the germs will decay slowly, but this is a way of cheap decontminate. I usualy make 10 15 water container, and automate all the water line, to only open when there is no germs in pipe, and close the entrance to not contamintate with fresh germ water.
you can try something similar to this (there are better builds but this one will work)
