Critter Farming and Eggs
I recently tried critter farming, each time my critters lay an egg someone comes by and picks it up to put in a storage locker. I want the eggs to stay so they hatch, how do you keep from someone picking up the eggs without having to continuously watch?

You have to unassign the storage box /s that you chose to store critter eggs.

Thanks with 100's of storage boxes that is going to be a tedious solution, although it's a solution :)

Click on your index (top right) and it will take you to the storage box/s that you assigned for eggs. Unless you have all the storage boxes assigned :steamfacepalm:

yes I don't micro the storage boxes so they all accept anything. Guess it's a good reason to start over and call that a lesson learned !

Generally if I have storage boxes that accept everything I set them to Sweep Only. That way dupes aren't running around collecting every piece of everything on the map. Although I usually disable 'liquifiable' so that the dupes aren't putting ice in there and creating huge puddles of water constantly.

Also when you have a one storage bin with the filters set that you want, you can select it, click "Copy Settings" and apply it to all your storage lockers at once. Saves a lot of hassle.

^ the copy tip above will be useful, this game has so much to manage it's great ! Now to throw in storage locker management too in my next game.
