"no critters available?"

I built a stable area for dreckos with a grooming station, shearing station, and nine mealwood plants set to no harvest. The roofline is accumulating hydrogen.

The grooming station is set to priority nine and I have two idle ranchers. In rancher errand list it shows "no critters available" despite having three wild dreckos in my stable. I'm still expanding the area to reach max size but the dreckos are happy, not cramped.

What am I missing to get these guys domesticated?

Probably all the dreckos are groomed and sheared, so nothing else for the ranchers to do.

they are still wild and unsheared - seems like there should be both shearing and taming tasks generated but I'm not seeing that

Takes a few grooming for them to become tamed. When you click on them and you see Groomed, there is nothing else for the rancher to do, hence "no available critters'.

They only get sheared if they are at 100% scale growth. So again, might be nothing to do.

They are not groomed at all. They are 100% wild with the arrow pointing upward. They are at 100% scale growth.

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here, but just not seeing it.

Don't see anything in that screener that should cause an issue. Does the room overlay recognise it as a valid stable? When you click on the grooming station and check under errands, both ranchers have No Critters Available?

Your drecko's can't reach the grooming and shearing stations.

I have seen one of them in that upper left corner with the hydrogen so I thought access was fine.

What specifically would I change to allow access - extend the upper platform, maybe?
