Intel i5 6400 lags a lot
Hi. I have an "old" laptop with an i7 at 2.2 Ghz and a GT635M and a PC with an i5 6400 and a GTX 1070. Odly enough, my laptop runs the game lag free, super smooth while my PC lags like hell...
Help?

How do your system resources on task manager look while it is running? Have you tried different resolutions, or running it windowed?

The game runs around 35% to 55% of CPU usage, always lagging even if it's at 35%. I've tried using windowed mode and at 1280*720 and it still lags a lot. Another thing, I have an SSD and the game loads a lot slower than on my laptop, which doesn't have an SSD. I've just reinstalled a clean Windows 10 and nothing has changed.

That's really strange; maybe take it up with the developers on the main forum?

Ok, maybe that's better. Thanks :)

No clear bottlenecks from hardward resources. Without seeing game/code logs and better info on the engine I would suggest updating any and all drivers you can.

I found the problem. My CPU was being limited to 0.8Ghz due to a motherboard issue o.O'
After solving it, the game runs super well :)
Thanks for your help :)

Can you describe what you figured out and how you fixed this? Others might be running into a similar problem.

Sure. I went to the task manager, checked the CPU and realized that it was working at 800mhz. After searching Google about it, I found out that this issue was caused by a bug in my motherboard. To solve it I had to change a property (don't remember which one) and it started working at normal speeds again.
