Question about power switch
How does the game determine what is the ''preceding'' circuitry? It could be either way in some cases :S

??
The power switch is basicly removes the wire from that tile if off, and readd if on, no other change happens with the switch.

Ohhh I see, the switch is like if you deconstructed that tile. Thanks I see it clearly now :D

Supply is dictated by storage or producers and checks to see if a valid path exists between the supply and the consumer. As Thorin said the switch in the off position acts as a dead tile or a breaker severing a possible connection between the supply and consumers. Thus the switches only work if suppliers are on one side and consumers are on the other. If suppliers and consumer are on the same side the consumer will continue working untill the supplier on its side is depleted.

It is possible to create sub networks using switches but in ONI that can be dangerous because of overload (a normal cable drawing more then 1000W). So unless your doing a complicated mechanism using amosphere and pressure switch its best to leave creating subnetworks to transformers.
