Best liquid for Aqua Tuner
What do you think is the best liquid for the Aqua Tuner to cool down a water resevoir or your base?

In the Oil preview update crude oil had a specific heat capacity of about 10 , now they reduced it to 1,69, so it make no sense to use it in a aqua tuner to cool a hot water resevoir while water have a specific heat capacity of 4,179.

Probably polluted water. It has specific heat capacity of 6 and ~-20C freezing point, should work reasonably well.
Or just very cold (like -200C) oil...

Ppl tend to use aquatuner for cooling geyser water. They place the tuner inside either clean polluted water or infected polluted water.

i have trouble using the s aquatuner, it takes WAAAAAY too much power. 2500 kws

I think it is very hard to handle polluted water in the aqua tuner for cooling other stuff, if the temperature is below -20C° the liquide pipes gets damage.

Then you have no choice but to use oil...
There are other options - may be some gases that are liquifiable at rlatively low temperature, but they will have chance to damage pipes too...

Also, if you need to cool water specifically, just use aquatuner directly, pumping water throgh it.

How do you handle the immense drain of the aqua tuner? Or are you not able to keep it running nonstop

9 Wheezeworts can turn 35 tons of water into the negative digits in a matter of minutes.

Only fools not make sure they have proper power before they use an aquatuner.

I don't know about the "best" liquid, but an efficient choice is to use P-H2O. The immense heat that the Aquatuner displaces into it will push the temperature up pretty quickly. Combined with a Tepidizer you can boil the P-H2O pretty quickly. This gives you Dirt and Steam. Granted, it's significantly more power, but you are no longer using Sand to convert your P-H2O to H2O.

Also has the side effect of removing all the Food Poisoning germs.

It is going about on what liquid is used IN the aqua tuner, not the liquid to cool it.

8/10 I see is geyser water. The others are oil.

I have now a setup where the water from the geyser is directly flowing through a liquid valve to my water reservoir. In the water reservoir are 2 thermal switches and 1 liquid pump, is the temperatur over 29C°, the liquid pump pump the water through 2 aqua tuners and back in the water reservoir.
