Speedier pumps?
My water pumps always generate enough to trickle out of the other end. I mean a real trickle. It takes 4-5 cycles just to drain a medium sized reservoir of water.

Is there anyway to cause it to gush out the other end?

The pumps are actually fast since each pump is 10k of water while everything machine use about 1/10 of the amt that it pumps. U actually lose water/ hydrogen.

U need valves to drop the water amt to 1k/g s and extra exhaust so only like 1-2 drops go through the pipes to the valves since the valve has the same issue too.

You're saying pump does 10kg and the pipes only carry 1kg so I need a valve to throttle it down to not "lose" water? Seems suspect...

No the pumps does 10k but the machines like electrolyters only accept 1k but bc the pump takes priority over the pipes giving to electrolyters u lose that 9k of water. It's a bug ppl found out this game first came out and made a temp bypass til devs fix this.

The current bypass is from the pump up, allow for 4 exhaust so that it can drip off enough that only one drop goes through. Add a valve bit further down to drop the 10k to 1kish. Note: u need to touch the right range since u can't type the exact Amt which is a hassle. Then connect it to the electrolyters and that reduce ur wasting.

From my experience, the bug lies w the pump since if u create a small pipe line from showers to fertilizer machine it takes the right amt everytime which can prevents ur dupe from showering until it has space. But the same issue occur when when using a pump to get polluted water into the fertilizer.

Best way I see to fix this is discard the valves and merge that function to the pump. This applies to water and air pumps.

didnt I see patch notes saying they solved the most egrerious parts of this bug during the thermal upgrade?

It hasn't been fixed yet.

He's not trying to limit flow to devices, he wants to increase the drain rate when moving water from a natural location to a reservoir.

Op the only way to do that atm is multiple pumps, but it's still not going to gush out like you're expecting

It absolutely has. No idea if each and every last problem with the amounts of liquids is fixed, but that behavior that you describe does not happen since the thermal upgrade.
