Where's the hydrogen coming from?
For the first 40 cycles of my base, no hydrogen problems. Now, the stuff is everywhere. I didn't tap into a hydrogen pocket or anything like that.

Electrolyzers will create hydrogen, use gas pumps and hydrogen generators to make use of it and convert it to power.

Thank you!

Make sure to put a gas seive between the pump and the generator to send the oxygen back into your base. And only run it when you have a good amount of hydrogen.

yes, the filter/sieve has to be there to keep any oxygen from your electrolyzers. if not, and there's a little bit of oxygen in your hydrogen space, your electro will continually break down.

A pump placed high up in the hydrogen dome, leading to a filter, that separates hydrogen from all else. the hydrogen goes straight to the generator, the all else goes to a valve, set to an abysmally low flow rate (the lowest non-zero flow rate I was able to set). This way, when other gas enters the pump, it will block the process for quite a while, slowing down the pumping massively, conserving the batterylife, in wait for hydrogen to rise up to the dome. The pump, filter, a battery and the generator are on a separate circuit, I may put something to be actually powered by it but I don't care enough yet. There's a hamster wheel connected to it too, to kickstart the pump and in case of a failure for whatever reason, but this setup was just quietly getting rid of hydrogen and depressurising my overpressurised base for weeks without problems.
