Like I see there is a flow of clean water going from the water purifer to the shower but you connected it to the shower output instead of the shower input so of course it clocks up.
place 2 lavatories and a shower on one floor. connect the pipes together, have outflow pipe go upstairs to a water filtration system then run the clean water pipe back down and to the inlet pipes of the toilets and shower. then run a pipe to a pump. throw a battery next to the filter and a hamster wheel next to the battery. get one your dupes to run on the wheel to pump water into the systems. let it cycle after a few showers and toilet uses, to get build up of water in your pipes. once thats done disconnect the pipe to the pump. now the water will be flushed or drained to your filter and then come right back out as clean water. just keep the battery and hamster wheel. once battery gets low for filter have a dupe charge it up. very nice once its going. no more polluted air or pumping water in or out.

****In is white, out is green. You have them mixed up. You'll have to run more pipe or deconstruct them and flip them around.****
Good luck on that playthrough!!
Note: There are a couple bugs involving the piping. When you drop a bridge make sure to drop a bridge first and then bring the pipe to it instead of the other way around. Sometimes it doesn't post and you get play wack-a-mole redrawing the system.
Note: You can not mix polluted and nonpolluted sources in the pipelines if it's coming from a building's exhaust. It will run for about a cycle then plug.
I learned it the hard way when my cooling loop plugged and all my pipes on the cold end froze in mass as my farms overheat and die. :/
Phenomenal game, but I wish it was more transparent with some of this stuff. The guides are nice but don't really give you a rundown on what's what. They also don't like to describe if the exhaust is polluted or not or even if it has an exhaust.
Note: if something is going goofy save it and reload. Sometimes something gets glitched. I've experienced fewer problems when I run it in offline mode.
I'm pretty sure it will get patched in the near future.
