Build it out of different materials to change heat tolerance.
75 degrees is using the default material, if you use gold then machinary should be able to remain functional up to 100.... not ideal for now but a solid indication in the direction the change is heading toward once it's more fleshed out.
They don't run if they're under too much water. But they can tolerate a little bit of water on the ground
I see. I never bother to check the material properties. Thanks for that.
We're talking about since the opt-in thermal update that introduced machinary breaking due to heat.
Not the main branch builds. Just want to make sure there's no "But I don't have that problem at all for weeks, so you're doing something wrong" confusion.... as things like coal generators are VERY easy to have constantly breaking down now.
i'm sorry, but do people even bother to read the log and game tooltip?
they put the information about this kind of things there.
especially here on beta branch of an alpha preview, and you decide to try it.
At least read more carefully before making as if the game is breaking/not working at some stuff that is working as intended
edit:
put some . and ,
OP asked a question, then there was a discussion over said question.
Don't try to act all high and mighty by attacking everyone in some emo rage over it.
edit:
sorry but serious note tho.
imo, you should put more self esteem and try not to act like a victim.
it will help your insecurity
is there a lot of CO2 around the area?
check the CO2 temperature or heat overlay.
if that is the case, build some gas perma tile under it so the CO2 will drop.
