Sandbox Mode?
I would really enjoy just being able to build different bases and test theories/strategies for gas/liquid management. (Not learning the hard way everytime I finally get to 40 cycles haha).

Is there already something like this that I just have not noticed?

try the developer mode. It is the closest to what you are looking for right now. I used it for a game. I hope this helps!

By sandbox I was meaning a gamemode in which your duplicates would not perish or where things would be able to be built instantaneously (without the need of duplicates).
