It's kinda offical, but not offical.. It is as offical as it will ever be as far as I know the Devs do know about it and have mentioned it before on one of their streams

I probably did something real stupid once and won't do it again, or did a few slightly stupid things and probably won't do it again.

If you don't even know what you did wrong then seems like you haven't learnt your lesson.

I hope they won't lift the ban in such case.

It happened like a year ago and i probably just didn't check the server and forgot about the ban and the reason it happened.

How can you stop yourself from repeating a mistake you don't even remember? If it was the way you spoke to people or something along those lines I wouldn't hold my breath for anybody to change.. even if they really wanted to that's just difficult.

Regardless if you genuinely want to be on the discord then you should make the effort to apologise for what you did, you still haven't said you are sorry and this alone is a small red flag.
