seal your garden place with pressure airlocks, dig into high pressurised areas from there, with whatever gas, if there's a lot of it in a single tile and let it flood your garden. Alternatively, find a high pressurised area, dig into it while locking the way with several pressure airlocks and put your plant pots there

Oxygen generation with the machine that uses water will also increase pressure fairly quickly.

I create a large room at the bottom of the starting area and don't seal it off. Actually I make the whole living area well ventilated. Carbon dioxide will sink to this room and I also put my meelwood planeter boxes there. This room at the bottom will naturally have the highest pressure.

wouldnt the melwood becomes unbreathable if the carbon dioxide sink to the room where they grow ?

nah, the plants can have whatever gas around them in the current state of the game. I'd like if they ate CO2 and breathed out some oxygen, not at the rate of Algae habitats but just slightly, if they were in light, but currently they don't behave that way.
