Make them a massage table, put paintings or potted plants near their beds, make sure they aren't walking around in puke, or by dead bodies. Also make sure they have enough clean oxygen and aren't over heating.
Can't speak to the hydrogen problem from experience, but i think there is a machine that separates gases from each other. Hydrogen should also rise if you dig out a hole in your roof (use ladder, plus dig out a column on each side until enough space to hold the hydrogen. Quick fix until you can figure out a more permanent one.
I do.
Ultimatly the best way to resolve gas problems is with the airlocks. Using those you can seal off the more hazardous areas of the base to your living quarters. You do NOT want your O2 production outside your living quarters though. Try to have those together if you can.
I have the same problem in multiple place, though i only have one vomit dupli, so i don't think he is everywhere. I looks like it all started when i grabed the slime, as i ran out of algea, but that might be a coincidence. I have weird gree nclouds that seem to pop out of my storage lockers, but no idea what it could be or if that is a gas effect that is in the same area.
Overall the water is really weird, i have a "lake" with 3 empty block, yet the water randomly still "jumps" up those theree blocks around the ladder.
I definetly have to invest a lot more in into decor, the massage table just is far to slow, as even a small problem can mood spiral your colony far faster than you can do anything about it.
If you have something that produces contaminated liquid/gas stored in your lockers they will leak...other than that and stress vomitting, people not making it to toilets can cause them to use the bathroom all over the place and the slime->algae machine generates contaminated water (i assume you're piping it to an appropriate place). Probably more, but that's what i've figured out so far.
I've been playing this game for some time now, and I have run into the same problem you have. For the water, make a pit for contaminated water, and one for clean water. Set up a pipe system so that dirty water is pumped into a water filter, and the clean water goes into the clean water pit. For the hydrogen, I have the same problem, it has killed 2 colonies for me. I think that the Electrolyzer is the machine that is making it. Meaning, don't use the electrolyzer, use algae deoxydizers, and build a Bio Distiller to turn slime into algae. I have tried every way to get rid of hydrogen, but it doesn't work, even with air filters.
... Yes, the electrolyzer converts 2x H2O (water) into 2x H2 (hydrogen) and 1x O2 (oxygen).
You can solve the hydrogen problem a few ways; best is to use it as a fuel source (there is a hydrogen-fueled generator you can build).
You may want to consider running that oxygen through a thermal regulator as the small room will probably get a bit warm.
Still, its an easy and simple way to eliminate any hydrogen buildup in your base.

Updated version in a few days.
Agreed, but I did not see any info on the icon for the electrolyzer. And yes, I did try the hydrogen power generator and it wasn't efficient enough. I will do as other people said and put it in a separate room with the oxygen generators.
