Anyway to clean the air?

I have polluted oxygen all over the place. I have no idea where it comes from. Same goes for natural gas (i realized my fertilizer maker made it). My question is is there a way to suck air out of the rooms, and condition it? Clean it make it nice oxygen and put it back?

Air Deoderizers and Pufts can be used to remove polluted oxygen. Or alternatively you can just ignore it. Dupes will breath polluted oxygen just fine.

An Air Pump can be placed in your problem area with a filter set to natural gas with the natural gas going to an isolated area or a generator while the rest of the gasses get vented back into whereever you want them to go.

Pufts are the only real way. You need to create a slime to Algae machine and then pump the polluted water into a fertilizer maker, then create a natural gas generator near the fertilizer maker to absorb the natural gas, then a CO2 scrubber near the natural gas generator to get rid of C02 then pump the C02 waste water back into the fertilizer maker - and connect the C02 Scrubber to a pump machine near a steam geyser to keep the circle going --- however --- the natural gas generator drips polluted water - so you need a pump under that collecting the polluted water and then pump that back into the fertilizer maker to prevent more polluted Oxygen.

LOL i just figured that chain out yesterday (except for the steam part). I still wish there was a way to suck up the air throughout the large base so it can clean the air that way (through this sytem of air treatments you mentioned).

yeah best to keep air deoderizers in all the places that stuff can settle as they are free on power and tiny. and keep your compost behind a airlock plus my guys have gotton sick releasing polluted oxygen in every room they walk in and polluted water can really be bad if oxygen touchs it

You can technically chain filters to get rid of multiple contaminents. But its better to use it up by converting it into something useful.

At the moment, there doesn't seem to be any significant penalty to pollution and unhealthiness. So for now, it would seem you can just ignore it.

I find it doubtul it will stay this way, though. My guess is that it's the next big thing the devs will address.

My guys are at a constant 30-60% stress because of illness (no cure for spores/trench) and it slows work down so there is a penatly.
