How do you deal with polluted oxygen in your base (besides using sand/filters)?
Just wondering what you guys do about polluted oxygen when you have no sand to clean it. Do you just breath it in and disregard the bad effects?

I saw that there's some animal that consumes polluted oxygen, but I haven't found them in my game yet and I dunno how difficult they are to manage.

I also watched some youtube videos that recommend cooling the stuff down in pipes until it's liquid, but that seems to be outdated because the pipes now break when the content stops being gas for some reason. I guess it's still possible to do it by cooling down hydrogen so far that it liquifies polluted oxygen outside of pipes, but that seems kinda complicated to set up.

I mostly just use sand, as I don't let enough into my base to worry too much about.

If you're getting a lot though and need to get it out, try setting up a pump where you notice a lot of it passing through. Have the pump pump somewhere you would rather it be, and filter Oxygen along the way somewhere back into your base.
in the very long run you may ran out of sand eventualy but on small and medium scale usage that wont happen soon unless you really filter like large amount of it

indeed to make it last best is to not use it for mass oxygen refining , but you could tho its not very efficient(it needs to be frequentely put and 100 does not filter that a lot

so personaly from what i tried biggest deal is not it running out , but filter only holds 100

considering how little sand you use and its quite abundand and also apearing beyond starting area , you wont run it out unless your aiming 600+ cycle and beyond

If you just kill the source, eventually your duplicates will breathe it all in and convert it to CO2. with that being said, I will take breathable air over anything else in late game.

Oh lol ofcourse.. polluted oxygen gets breathed in and eliminated that way, I was worried about some tiny pockets of it floating around my base forever xD

I thought I was out of sand, but turns out I still have 8000kg of it. The priority on the air filters must have been too low.
what annoys me the most air filters splewout clay at constant rate , making your people constantly pick it up instead doing other 5P jobs

Then ban clay on your compactors and they will ignore the clay

considering how many there are its a lot clicks

I personaly think AI needs a lot reworking , they do too much busy work , instead of actual work , and if work is far away they tend to just go do 1-2 thing and go back for whatever reason

This game really could use working prorirety and improved workflow as problem of them picking up "grams" or even miligrams of objects and going back and literaly "weasting" time becomes really big problem at times

that problem sightly overlaps more when you got more people

i also would rather change how air filters work , rather them droping "grams of clay" i would change them they work like water treatment , waiting for "full" and then droping it

What do you mean a lot clicks? ban clay in a compactor, then use settings and drag it all over the rest of your compactors

by drag and drop it all over compactors what do you mean

Game does not explain its controls and things very well

there is a button "copy settings" or so on compactors, next to the disable and demolish buttons.
