How to get Power after Coal?
So first i got Power with the Hamster wheels, then the Coal generators. After that i built a Hydrogen generator but this think sucks all the Hydrogen so fast, it didnt last long.

Now my colony run all out of Power -.-

Pls tell me how to run a Efficient Power structure

Why not stick with the clean energy hamster wheels? :) It's free and unlimited energy. But apart from that, try and find a natural gas geyser and build a room around it so you can collect the gas which means power forever with the natural gas generator.

The Hamster wheels didnt produced enough energy, thought.

Well then build more hamster wheels. 1 hamster wheel was like 400 energy and coal generator 600 if I remember correctly, so it's not too shabby. A bunch of hamster wheels should be able to power almost anything. But regardless, try and find a natural gas geyser.

The geyser, are they more found when i dig to the bottom or top?

I don't know, I think it's probably random. I had one very close to my starting position on my first map.

Ok, thank you for your help!

It's random, sometimes you get more than one, but you can power 3-5 gasgenerator from a single geyser, so you pretty much have free unlimited power with just one. The gasgenerator will even produce polluted water, so you get even more from them.

And if you keep a hatcher alive in a good position, you can feed it with some stuff to get more coal.

Im up to day 80 and have been powering my whole base with 2 power wheels and 2 big batteries. It's all you should need for awhile, what cycle are you on?

Any coal, hydrogen, gas gen needs wheel pwr also incase u it runs out which u will. Coal is limited by the hatches and junk materials ur willing to give for coal. Hydrogen is limited by the amt of electrolyzers. Gas gen the spd of gas geysers. Wheels are infinite and u can jam a lot into 1 line. This source is limited by amt of dupes u got.

Feed hatches fertilizer or spare food stuffs for more coal

Connect a hamster wheel to batteries and connect them in turn to a power transformer with heavy wire. Then a normal wire from the transformer output and connect your base. (The normal wire in living areas won't bring the decor down.)

Use all your polluted water and put it in the Fertilizer Synthesizer, which will give off natural gas. Pump natural gas into a natural gas generator and you have some energy. (4 Synthesizers per Nat. gas gen.)
You can also make sealed rooms and pump your hydrogen from your electrolyzers to power hydro generators, a "sewer" room for the nat gass and polluted water and a sealed gas room over the nat gas gyser to supply you with the fuel needed for a nat gas gyser. Hamster wheels are a great substitute too when things break

a geyser of some kind is the ultimate solution as of right now
