Gas filter help
I dont understand how gas filter works... I connect a gas pump to the gas filter intake then I select to filter a gas that gets released by the middle vent and then all the other gases come out of the gas filter output? It should be the other way around... I want to supply hydrogen to my hydrogen generators so I used a gas filter to filter oxygen but the problem is if another type of gas goes near the pump then my generators will get damaged because im only filtering oxygen...

you need to set the filter to hydrogen then :)

No, nothing works, the filter just stops working, I dont understand it.. It was working when I set it to filter oxygen, but then suddenly stops working when oxygen enters the gas pipe preceding the filter.. I really dont get it

Make sure the incoming gas to the filter is going into the White side, and Hydrogen is coming out through Orange output, making sure filter is set to Hydrogen, all other gas then will flow out the Green output side. And piping into and out of all connections. Pressing the letter O will flip most items.

Edit: Oh and make sure theres power to filter. Gas pumps will not take damage from gas, liquids yes, or to much heat, but not gases. If this does not help, maybe posting a screen shot will help me or others to help.

white is input, green is output. Orange is what is filtered out.

I see, thanks. So the orange is the filtered one and you need to pipe it... It was confusing because you can see some kind of vent animation on that piece...

Yeah I had that problem until I figured out you had to pipe the orange one as well.

when you tell it to filter something in the center, when the gas you said filter hits that center it goes down through that center tube, while the random gases go straight out the other part, it would be nice if you put a picture so we can see exactly what your doing wrong, when you set the filter to have oxygen the oxygen will go down the center part while the res of the gases will just flow right through the filter. if your having other gas issues attach another filter and the gas you dont want to be filtered out. but filters do work like they should

heres an example of my filter, i have natural gas being pumped to my filter, when it passes through the filter it goes into the natural gas generator, while other gases are pumped staright through the filter without blocking, also the natural gas generator has one negative effect, it produces CO2 as you will see in the picture i have that pumping out to.
