Maximum gas amount on a tile?
It seems for oxygen the cap is 1800g? since the oxygen machine stops when it reaches that.. but for dioxide carbone im seeing some tiles with 5kg of it? ty

Things that produce new gas appear to cap at 1800 (oxylite, machines, vents), but as gas moves around it appears it can compress further (hydrogen getting pushed up from oxygen production, or carbon dioxide sinking).

Carbon dioxide seems to be capped to 2008 g per tile for me. I tried but it doesn't go past that. Are you sure its over 5000 g per tile? I find this hard to believe. Must be bugged either for you or me then, because for me it caps at around 2008 g per tile.

It seems to fluctuate heavily but yes Im currently seeing tiles with 3k+ carbon fluctuating bak to 2k and so forth :S

Most normal means of making gases are 2kish. Only exception are isolated polluted water pool and natural gas geyser which can hit 5k and over 150kg after a long period of time.

That's strange because I have an isolated polluted water pool where I also pump in carbon dioxide and also a room for a natural gas geyer but yet the tiles max out at a little over 2000g per tile.

That's because u touched into it already. If u exposed isolated polluted water and nvr touched it, over time the polluted gases will continue to insane degrees. Once it is popped and u add ur own gases, it becomes restricted to the 2k amt. Thats my guess most bases I've seen in YouTube are mostly polluted gases mixed in. The popped into isolated polluted water gas pockets and all that polluted o2 covered their entire base.

You can reach higher levels in your productions, but hard, normally oxigen stops at 1800, but goes higher if other gases comes into play (if you have two tiles of 1800 O2, and CO2 pops into existence on one of them, the other tile gets all of the O2, going in theory 3600.)

I have some Natural Gas from Fertilizers at 7kg and some CO2 around 3kg.

Oxygen doesn't cap: (or at least not easily)

12 kg Oxygen on a single tile - compressed it when i emptied 3 large water pools into the one on the screenshot.
