Obligatory Steam Deck post
Wondering how it runs on it? And yeah, I know it’s not verified, I know the developers said they had no news on that front yet. I’m asking users with their own Decks what their experience is. Graphics settings? FPS lock?

The game comes with a separate depot for Deck, as did the demo, so apparently there *is* some work done on that front.
As for performance, the demo ran at about 40 fps for me on medium-ish settings, I think, so I expect the final game to be at least as good.
I got 60 FPS with low settings, shadows on, and performance upscaling, though it was a little unstable around 50 in more chaotic combat.

It doesn't look too bad even on lower settings, but the upscaling makes the game look fairly blurry and pixely.

If the upscaling doesn't bother you (and maybe you can even just use the Lossless Scaling app for better results) it's a very playable experience on Steam Deck, but it is pushing the limits of 60 FPS.

Can you disable it tho for better performance or not possible?
I got it work with default setting all aboard. Normal, balanced, etc. Mostly stable 30 FPS at 15 TDP with some frequent stutter. Stutter is fine just breaks the immersion during exploring or even annoying during combat..
I'm getting some pretty gnarly ~15 fps for half a second stutter on a mobile 5090. It's not just traversal stutter either, seems random. Not sure exactly what's up with that but the deck isn't the only config with issues rn.
Ty all for your responses! I might get it soon.

I saw in a review yesterday that this stuttering is common. Might be an issue with the frame pacing and if so, only the developers can fix it.
