Easy to do, skips past all the intros including the THQ one and such, goes straight to loading screen then menu, no fiddling around in the command lines and such.
I know this is a bit of an old post, but this was exactly what I wanted to do and it worked. No pressing escape required.
The volume levels on the sega intro and the dawn of war intro were just so loud, and the in-game volume settings don't seem to apply. So first after blowing your eardrums out a few times you learn to hover your hand over the escape key, so that you only get a half second of the ear breaking sega screech intro, and then a half second of the ear exploding dawn of war explosion. That wasn't a good enough solution, I wanted those movies to never show for even a half second. This solution worked perfectly.
