It's my understanding that the Steam version is at version 1.51 and therefore I can't set my resolution to 1920x1080, is there any mod to fix that?

you can set it to 1080 if you want but it'll break the ui slightly. if you are a minimap clicker type player then it's very frustrating.

local.ini is the file you want to edit ( or you could try the gfx config app). it'll be in your \Steam\steamapps\common\dawn of war gold folder

I know, but I is still at 4:3 aspect ratio with the bars on the side. That seemed to only work with version 1.14-1.34 (or something arround that) but the Steam version is version 1.51.
