I have a question for everyone here about these two version of this game
Which one of these are better than the other?
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Master Collection
VS
Steams
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War - Anniversary Edition
something tells me that the Anniversary edition is the same game but updated better?
idk i'm new here and just don't want to buy one of them and find out the other one was better? i really feel like i answered my own question already.......:distrustshock:

Anniversary Edition is not an updated version. It is not "better". It's the same as it ever was, EXCEPT they straight up removed the LAN Multiplayer option and replaced it with a working "normal" multiplayer mode.

I don't know if the Master Collection has LAN Multiplayer available, but I think it does.

I'm only really familiar with the original CD versions, but it looks like the Master Collection is equivalent to the original CD versions (should have LAN Multiplayer available).

Personally, I want the LAN multiplayer to play modded games with friends more than a working "normal" multiplayer option (which just makes playing with randoms easier with vanilla).

Master Collection didn't have LAN either, it's been like that for many years now.
