Tho not too bad of them to simply bundle all of them together.
Ironically I can only access DoW2 and chaos rising from the new edition of 2, so it's basically a copy of the Chaos Rising version of the game which I already had.. not complaining though since I can double achievement hunt it if I feel like it.
Retribution still needs to be launched from it's own game.
DoW 1 is the same way, if I want to play Dark Crusade or Winter Assault I have to launch them separately.
I thought they would have all been combined into the original game like Chaos Rising was.
Still no modern resolutions which is something you'd EXPECT from something calling itself the 'anniversary edition'
Not sure.. last time I played DoW 2 I had to play the Chaos Rising version to get both campaigns.
The time before that I played DoW 2 in the original version and im pretty sure there was only the vanilla campaign.
core game mechanics where changed to accommodate the added stuff in the later editions
so yea unless they reprogrammed the entire thing your not going to have the soulstorm stuff in winter assault
and it would be silly to reprogram the entire stuff
you got every other edition for free along with it anyway so who cares
im happy i can play dark crusade again, since that was the best version
while keeping my soulstorm version for mods, since thats the version the mods use
only downside is making scrolling down the game list in steam a little longer
