We need to know the assignment for each button and axis, provided in a format like the example in the first post. When you've got that, post it here and we'll include a mapping for your gamepad in a future build. Thanks!
i used your newer control test and filled in the information hopefully that will allow you to give better support for it. i wanted it to play HoF1. the controller is a Saitek P2500.

My question is :
Why can't you configure movement buttons on gamepad but you can action buttons while on KBM you can configure both without issues?
The program linked in the OP also has some weird issues for me. It doesn't detect right stick properly while in HoF2 it controls movement and in the other games (Dark Souls, RE series) works perfectly fine.
I guess I'll have to resort to backsitting my friend while he plays until such an option becomes available or you can point me to another program that can register those inputs for you.
How do 0-5 map to 1-6 here https://i.ytimg.com/vi/qluJemVCAnY/maxresdefault.jpg

I am not sure if that thread is alive as well as support, but still.
I use the Xbox One Wireless controller connected using Bluetooth on macOS Catalina (MacBook pro). And the controller is not recognized in the game. Steam in big-picture can use it. And if Xbox Controller configuration enabled in steam - the game can use controller too. But rumble (vibration) is not working.
The vibration itself can work, I tested it using that site - https://html5gamepad.com in Chrome.
The app you provided "Can't be opened": https://imgur.com/9glXmcV
Thanks.
P.s. I did not test it using wire connection since I don't have a needed wire.
