.....How to get "Theon".....

I found out that the surivors are different afrter load the auto save of the rescue quest. I tried about 90 times to reload for "Theon"..and I failed to get him...

Is there any special condition to get the "Theon"
I tried in sandbox mode and 50 times without the soul crystal and 40 times with it....
Btw..I like Oliver very much, maybe hes the best unique survivor for fight...

Hello. Theres no sure way to get/find Theon. Its pretty much random, at least for me. Took me several hours of reload to eventually find Theon and other rare special survivors (few weeks ago). I kinda favor Inara. That 25 work speed is nice for support back at base. Oliver is good with bow. If you can get a Survivalist who is a Huntsman, Adventurous, and Nimble is nice for bow. All rare special surivor are very hard to get imo. Just keep trying. Someone may know of another way. I spent many many hours reloading to get Theon and other rare special survivors.

Theres a list of what i have found in the thread post "Spoilers" Recruited Survivors. It took me almost a month to find them all. Spent a whole week trying to find most of them at one point. Rest eventually got.Hope that helps you some.

Also for regular survivors, try to get Architect, Oil Driller, Factory Worker for base support. For the rare survivors, keep hitting that reload if you dont find the rare. Took me a long time but eventually got them.

If you are so inclined to find them, instead of (wasting) your limited IRl time, download the mod that increase the chance to find an unique survivor.
Copy it in your mod folder, unsubsribe from it. Edit the value to increase the chance further. take 5-10min and you will get them all later.

Most of them are less good that some combo of skill (since more energy/hunger is useless for anybody that stick near a bed/food table, so beside mining, quarry, wood or building it wouldn't be here you wouldn't notice, while a basic +30-60% at their main job is super nice.)

Hello. Dont know what mods are or are for. Its its third party i dont add it to game. Unless its part of the game when i download it from Steam after buying it or part of the ui ingame i dont bother. Thats just me and yeah it will take more time, but thats part of playing online games (single type, solo, rpg or coop/multiplayer) at least for me. Each to their own.
