Good trade goods?
So what are good items to trade? I have been mostly using food: bread and wool because it's fairly easy to get plenty. Crafted goods don't seem to give a lot of value for their material. Any good advice there?

I'm still in mid-game (t3 with some t4 research) and nothing can beat holy water.

You can scavenge a lot of alcohol & cloth, and if using scavenged material holy water have best profit per worktime value, PLUS i'm leveling my crafters too.

I sell ice boxes. Make about 20 of them between trader visits. It's easy on the mats because I have plenty of companion farms and water collectors.

Leather Vest, 6 hide for 48 trade value (hide trades for 1 so by crafting you are 8x-ing your value) great for early-mid game as the never ending stream of werewolves and hellhounds will keep you stocked on hide.

I had done some worksheet with all data for interesting crafting receipts (worktime less then 1000, not using rare scavenge resource like clay / resin / etc).

Please, be warned - I'm using custom difficulty (lower then baseline) so some my values will be wrong!

I'm using pure profit : excluding mats sell cost from trade good sell cost.

Best crafting goods (if craft all pre-mats too, excluding working time for raw resource gathering like wood/stone/food/etc):

1. Salad (need 5 worktime for 1 point of profit).
2. Cloth (6,4 per 1 profit)
3. Boards (6,6 per 1 profit)
4. Gunpowder (8 per 1 profit, warning: using sulfur!)
5. Ice box (8,4 per 1 profit).

Using only scavenged mats (without crafting mats for trade goods) Holy Water will share 3rd place with Boards (6,6 per 1 profit).

P.S. I will look how I can share my resulting worksheet.

I've used holy water and gunpowder primarily. Leather vests are good, but it seems like for the time it takes to make em, it's better to just sell the hides directly. I haven't done and measurements/calculations to back that though, so do keep that's a very informal observation.
