[SPOILERS] Just beat the game 100%, but I still have two questions about Draga.
As stated in the title: I've fully beaten the game. Got all the memories, all clues, completed the ending added in the Definitive edition...

And yet there are a few questions unanswered. I mean, there are quite a few, but most of those questions are clearly supposed to be mysterious/unanswered anyways.

However, these two questions are about Draga. (And to those who haven't beaten at least beaten the base ending, I suggest not reading further)

1. One of Draga's memories states that she wasn't able to be taught how to fight the normal way because she's feline and felines don't normally join the army. It's mentioned that she has to learn from someone. When she fights the trainer and General Ellia asks her who she trained under, she blushes and doesn't answer. Ellia then states that she will "learn your secret", however it never seems to go anywhere.

So the first question is: Who trained Draga? Clearly it was someone important and really, really good at fighting.

The only clues I could assume is that it may have been someone from Rodentia. She clearly doesn't want to say who it is, so maybe it would've gotten her into trouble if she did. Either that, or it's someone in Pygaria who doesn't want to be named.

But I also wonder if it was the original Harbinger. During the final battle, you fight Voden within the original Harbinger's body. She uses the same exact spinning attack Draga uses whenever you fight her. That's the only connection though, and you would think Draga would have maybe mentioned meeting the original Harbinger at some point; especially if she taught Draga like that.

2. Just before the fight between Indrik, the Harbinger, and Draga, Indrik tells her that he knows of what she did in the prison. She had let a prisoner escape. If you choose to kill Indrik, he states that he understands why she did it, and that it was "out of love". If you look at the Orb of clues, one of the clues in her branch is exactly this statement as well - that she "let a prisoner escape, for love."

So the second question: Who exactly is this prisoner?

I've scoured all memories and none of them give a clue. Initially I thought it was Ludomir as he's the only one we know of that "escaped", but the only time she even utters his name is when she calls him a drunkard. Other than that, there doesn't seem to be a noteworthy connection to them. I then thought maybe "for love" meant for Vera. But again - it seems Draga merely respects Vera and doesn't seem to be close to her to the point of being "in love", whether romantically or otherwise.

So yeah, these two questions really stumped me. Maybe both of the answers are one person? She was taught by someone, fell in love, they got captured, and she freed them?

Or perhaps these questions were initially supposed to be answered, but that part of the storyline was scrapped for one reason or another?

Either way, I greatly enjoyed the game and am fully satisfied other than the questions above. If anyone has any insight (perhaps a dev if the answers are actually scrapped lore), then it'd be very welcomed. Hope to see more from this devteam again some day!

Thank you so much for playing our game! These are excellent questions.

1. The spinning attack Draga and the previous Harbinger use comes from General Ellia. She had taught both of them a technique only passed down from general to general. In the case of the Harbinger, she made an exception.

So who initially trained Draga? It's actually the same answer to your second question.

2. The prisoner is, in fact, Ludomir.

As one of Indrik's general, Draga would never, ever openly reveal her long history with the rebel Ludomir. She fears being kicked out of the army because of it.

Ludomir, like his prize-fighting father, is one of the best pugilists in all of Pygaria. Even as a kid, his intense training made him stronger than most. So in an attempt prove herself as a great soldier, a young, driven Draga challenged him to a fight. Ludomir, seeing potential in Draga, turned the fight into a training session.

During their subsequent hand-to-hand sparring sessions, Draga became stronger and smarter as a fighter. They also grew closer and enjoyed throwing insults to each other.

Many years later, when Draga learned about Ludomir's capture and torture, she secretly freed him. She broke the military rules for the first time for him.

Their relationship and initial encounter is "revealed" during their dialogue at the Shrine before the True Ending. Of course, with Indrik around, they still keep it hush-hush:

Draga:
We have to keep them from the Vault, Ludomir.

Ludomir:
Oh, I’m not complaining. Haven’t had this much fun – well, since the first time I fought with a Pygarian.

Draga:
That wasn’t a fight. Although you haven’t gotten much better since then.

Ludomir:
Oh ho! Maybe you should drop your blade and use your tongue – it’s sharper.

Also, there is a post-credit scene that unfortunately got cut:

Draga:
Everyone at the Academy is still talking about your spar with Indrik. Speaking of Academy, you could take a position and teach the young ones a thing or two like you did for me.

Ludomir:
A thing or two? I taught you everything you know, but half of what I know.

Draga:
Forgetting again how you landed on your backside thanks to my innate skill?

Ludomir:
Well, I don’t know about that…

Draga:
All right, then. Farewell, Ludomir. For now.

Ludomir:
C'mon! Bear hug!

Wow, I see! I do remember that conversation during the true ending, but didn't put the pieces together like I should have. It's too bad that other scene was cut, but I know how it goes with having to shave off a few things in the name of cohesiveness.

Thank you for clarifying!
