Still can't decide on a race...

I was human male the first game because it fit my general play style. I like the strike moves.

I'm not sure what I want to be this time. I could just stick with human. Though again, they're screwed for transformations.

Saiyan is... kind of interesting, just to have the difference of a transformation to use... but their stats... ugh. I suppose there's not nearly as much focus on supers this time around, so it shouldn't be as bad.

Frieza race also looks kind of interesting, again, just to be something different. And the golden form sounds neat... though it means I'm going to be golden most of the time, meaning I should colour my guy around that. :p

At least with humans only getting kaio-ken and potential, they still look as you design them. Sayians will have the whole hair thing.

Bah... just don't know what race to pick.

I had a male earthling in XV1, Wanted to pick Frieza race because it would like a Yin and Yang thing, but went with Female Saiyan in this one to make em a couple. His costume even looks better on her.

My headcanon is crazy.

I will try Namekian for sure, they are overpowered in ranked matches. Anyway I started with fem saiyan but I dont really like saiyans, then I rerolled Frieza race character for the look, I always loved them. Golden Form is amazing and looks so badass, I love the Frieza-like stance you get after this transformation.

It could be worse... you could have the majin transformation

But tbh if transformation is what you care about and you do actually want to play human. When finishing the Super-advancement quest, you get power unleashed. Its a great transformation that simply makes you stronger, regenerate more Ki, doesnt cost anything (though you do have to have over 500 ki to use it the first time, it doesnt consume it) and it wont go away unless you reach specifically 0 Ki which you never really exactly hit.
(Humans cant lose it even at 0 Ki i think)

I went Frieza race in the first one; I didn't want to play that race again this time around. I don't like playing as a fat buu, and as a guy, I only like creating male characters so majins are out. I'd love to play one if the super buu body build was available. In any game, I always avoid playing as a human. They're just boring to me. It was a toss up between namekian and saiyan. I decided on saiyan. None of my decisions were based on stats, and I didn't even know about the awoken skills.

If it's anything like the first game, I'll have my main character I sink all my time into, and one of everything else that I'll probably use a couple times then bench. lol

I sort of want to try a Sayian, just to have the option of SSJ... but their stats for supers... especially strike supers compared to what humans get... ugh.

I've been hearing conflicting reports about each of the races in Xenoverse 2. Some people think the racial stats are identical to what they were before, and others claim they've been changed around.

This is allegedly (unconfirmed) the racial stats for Xenoverse 2

HP: Majin M> Namekian> Saiyan M> Human M> Majin F> Human F> Frieza> Saiyan F
Basic: Frieza> Human M= Namekian > Saiyan M > Human F> Majin M> Majin F> Saiyan F
Strike super: Human M> Human F> Majin F > Namekian> Majin M> Frieza> Saiyan M> Saiyan F

the descriptions are the same so it would make sense right?

Build a Saiyan and assign most points to stamina and basic attacks ! Also if you want then saiyans can have potential unlock too ! So far I didn't even feel the necessity to go SS except me just wanting to transform.

Those don't look the same to me at all. in XV1, Saiyan males had the highest basic attack. But in Xenoverse 2, it looks like Frieza's Race has the highest basic, with Human males and Namekians being tied for second, and Saiyan males being 3rd place.
