How do you unlock more masteres.

i have a bunch that are missing and ive beaten the game but i dont know what to do to get more. do i have to do some specific PQs to unlock them or something.

There are some master's that fly around certain area's the city and you run into them and fight them to unlock them.

Broly for example flys around above the PQ area.

so are all the ones im missing up in the air flying. hell i aint even got elder kai as a master.

Have you Z ranked them all?

Z ranking them unlocks the Super class test, you then need to Z rank that to unlock everyone.

All the masters should be unlocked once you've finished the story. The only one that's flying around in the air is Broly. Everyone else is marked on the map.

None of the masters unlock from PQs.

Dodoria is too, but very close to where he sits afterwards

Hercule you have to use the emote applaud on him, you just have to then relog or finish a quest/pq and he will be a maaster.

Masters become available as you complete the main story. You should have most of them unlocked by the time you complete the BoG story.



Anyways, here's all the mentor locations as I remember them.


Krillin - in front of the school

Beerus - On top of the school need your flying license to reach him.

Gotenks - on top of the tower next to the school. Need your flying license to reach him.

Pan - near the base of the tower next to the school

Android 18 - near the accessory shop

Buu - Along the street leading to the school

Raditz and Nappa - Around the outer edge of the mission hubs.


Turless - On a cliff near the Buu's House area. Need your flying license to reach him

Slug - Along the pathway to the dragon pedestal.

Vegeta and Tien - Along the cliff on the opposite side of Slug's location.

Piccolo and Yamcha - Along the path leading to the time nest and world tournament.


Frieza, Zarbon, Dodoria, Ginyu - Cliffs overlooking the Ajisa district. You need you flying license to reach them.


Cell - Mushroom cliffs.

Broly - On top of a mushroom, you'll need to beat him in a fight near the mission hub before he'll appear here.


Kid Gohan - along the path of the bamboo forest.

Goku - At the end of the bamboo forest path near his childhood home.

Gohan and Videl - in front of the school, by the fence.

Jaco - Standing in the market district.

Hercule - Unknown, haven't found him yet.

none of this information helps me and i checked my time patrol quests and it sais 91% done and also do i have to get my friendship up to maximum with all master before more appear or something and also when does the god test show up.

NO, you do not. Friendship works differently this time around.

You can only build friendship with your current instructor. As their friendship increases, go talk to them and they'll occasionally give you items as a reward.

And PQ's have NOTHING to do with unlocking mentors. I said you have to play through STORY mode. You might also need to complete the advancement tests before more appear. Most of the trainers have certain courses that only become available after you reach a certain rank.


So if you haven't done that yet, go back and check. The advancement tests are right next to Old Kai in front of the school.


If you get a Z rank on all the advancement tests, you'll be able to take a bonus test which gives you Unlocked Potential upon completion.
