Dual Ultimates Don't Work?

I made Pan my mentor again and she said we're good friends or some ♥♥♥♥ and gave me the Dual Maidens Blast.

But when I equip it I cannot use it or any other skills. The same thing when doing the Dual Ultimate training with Elder Kai the skill will not execute.

i've been using like 4-5 Dual Ultimate and they seem to work fine for me. havn't use Pan's tho.

for the dual ultimate to work i think we'll need a partner in the team who equip the same DU skill?

Your partner is not required to have the dual ultimate equipped. All that is required is that you have it and that the first hit is successful.

From what I understand, your partner has to actually be on your team.

Also, I'm not sure how the dual ultimates work, since I tried using Dual Super Nova (Cooler), and I think only one of the balls was actually inflicting damage to my opponent. :(

It's because my game is modded. A modder friend of mine told me a new BAC was introduced and my CAC has Pan's moveset and it doesn't play nice so that's why.
