Killspeed / DPS will be lower than on builds using SV2 or PU, but still...
And that's the dumbest part. Superior power, MASSIVE design flaws. It's terrible!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with either of the skills. I can use and maintain it in PvP easily.
The difficulty maintaining it normally is the cost of power and is not meant to be used in long drawn out fights. Your style has to be built around the Awoken skill. It is not meant to be geared towards continued use.
And that's terrible design. It isn't fun to be hyper-restricted by "constantly draining resources". That's a really stupid mechanic. The only time that should apply is using ultimates/evasives/supers that continue draining ki/stam to do extra damage. Making that a core mechanic of one of the most ICONIC things in the franchise is f*cking stupid... pardon my French.
The idea is that you transform into ssgss and quickly destroy your opponent, not just pop it and go jogging. Being able to counteract the drains with skills and souls is what makes it busted tbh. Imagine being able to use goku's ssb kaioken for an entire PQ nonstop, that's essentially what you're doing when you counteract the drain from ssbe.
Saiyan Favoritism was hated in Xeno1. Putting it in Xeno2 just makes it worse.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deal with it...
lel... scuse me for being one of the players who plays a race which is the CORE of DB/DBZ/DBS.
Hakuna your tatas. Saiyans are the iconic race. Boohoo that you don't like it.
The problem is requiring you to bust the hell out of your setup to even make it work. It's stupid. It's a terrible design decision. I offered a MORE THAN viable solution.
1x Super Skill with either Ki regeneration or increased Ki per hit (or Ultimate Charge)
Done.
Not exactly what I'd call "busting the hell out of [my] setup"...
And I have to drop a 3rd attack for Burst or Ult charge to sustain myself. It SUCKS.
That's a gross exaggeration, I use all presets and all I had to change was a super soul for one of them, heck even if you don't want to use a different super soul, the new charges (ultimate and burst) make it super easy to always have ki. There's literally no reason to use dvinity unleash + another charge btw, that's entirely superfluous.
And again, the fact that it's laughably easy to make it sustainable makes it entirely busted for any PQ, even the biggest healthbars get deleted in seconds; there's a reason why you can't use power rush with either of the transformations, you'd literally one shot any enemy if you could.
"Let the experiment begin..." (XL boost to Ki Blast Skills, Ki regeneration, Ki-per-hit)
"Pathetic" (XXL boosts to Ki Blast and Strike Skills as well as highest Ki-per-hit in the game)
"You honestly thought you could beat me?" (XL boost to all attacks, XL Ki-per-hit)
"I hope you're reborn as someone good..." (requires a max. Ki build, but works nicely in almost all PQs)
Add Meditation.
If I really want to nuke something, Super Vegeta 2 and one of the new Super Souls that increases damage by a large amount serves me well enough. Super souls and moves that empower other moves seem to be where the lion's share of the power is now.
I mean, maybe it matters more in pvp. I don't know. I don't pvp because no build is going to compensate for cheats and a bad latency that makes it so no one is ever where they appear to be.
This.
Super Vegeta 2 or even Potential Unleashed offers overall higher DPS than any "Blue" Awoken.
With regards to the current go-to Souls for PvE, I'd say that the 4 I suggested above + the Mentor Souls of Vegeta (6x S boost stacks to KI Blasta + XL boost to Galick Gun(s)) are top notch. Frieza's EDB Soul works just fine, too.
It's ironic, but in PvP most of the Saiyan-specific tranaformations are actually 99,99% IRRELEVANT, even under perfect, lag-free conditions.
