I have had a number of people ask me about my plans for Robovac Flashback and its compatibility with the Steam Deck and I wanted to provide some further information here.

During development, I am ensuring that Robovac Flashback provides a very polished experience on the platform. I own a Steam Deck myself and have already started doing some of my own testing on the platform using Proton. I have reviewed Valve's guidelines on Steam Deck verification and I believe the game will meet all these expectations.

In it's current build, Robovac Flashback already supports Xbox controller icons and the game experience is not diminished in any form when using a controller (I actually prefer using a controller when playing the game). The only feature I am not entirely sure about supporting is the 16:10 aspect ratio of the Steam Deck's screen. The game currently only supports a 16:9 aspect ratio. I do believe it would be possible to make the game support different aspect ratios, but it all depends on how much work this would entail. If it involves extending the sizing of too many art assets, I may decide it is not worth the extra effort.

Please be assured that Robovac Flashback will support the Steam Deck from release and I will be doing extensive testing to ensure it is an enjoyable experience when playing with a keyboard, or a controller.
