Swordcraft Taunt Control

So im reallying liking my Swordcraft deck deck code here= 6huq

It is doing quite well 2 losses in 10 games. However I am feeling that I probably should remove the Sea Queens because they have no taunt .

Do not get me wrong. I think the opponent thinks that im going to pump them up I guess even though I do not have anything for such things in the deck. and targets them most of the time.

I was thinking of removing them and adding another execution or two.

I have to say i love the Aurelia, Regal Saber because not only does it pump on its own but the enemy can not target it with any kind of spell. (if they have 3 creatueres out at a time , aggro hates them)

It seems that it confuses the opponent so much that sometimes I get rage quits.
Even the elana waste pumped creatures to take out the 8/8 (evolved) and they in turn have to start over.

Otohime is the best. She's how you refresh the board after a board wipe. If you have her, it's insane to cut her. Cut something else if you want more Ward.

Control Sword (and not ones pretending to be Control that are actually Midrange Swarm Sword) doesn't want anything to do with Otohime. 6 mana do nothing isn't part of the gameplan (even after a Themis your job is to protect your face, which a bunch of 1/2s won't accomplish vs late game decks), you need cards that impact the board when you don't have Evolve left to spend. I much prefer additional copies of Tsubaki/Alwida's in the 6 mana slot.

Because you posted the deck code instead of the link (codes only last 3 minutes, unless keeping the page open on the Steam client), I can't see the deck.

I haven't actually put together a control Sword deck but all the net decks have at least one copy in them, if not two.

If a deck is running Otohime and any group buff card (Sage Commander, Royal Banner, Wind God, etc) it isn't classified as Control Sword, its Midrange Sword. Midrange's primary win condition is to live past the early game and establish a dominant board past that point. Control typically doesn't care about their own board outside of the D-Shift matchup, they care about preserving life total and answering the opponent's board until card advantage is significant enough to start pressing for lethal.

I can't comment on whichever netdecks you're sourcing as my build is the result of a month of homebrewing and testing what works and what doesn't in my current meta, but I can tell you that I started by running one Otohime and that it was one of the first cards I cut for making no impact in enough of my matchups.

yeah i cut it out completely and went with Tsbuski . she is great. also didntk now about the deck code thing. thought they stay forever. thanks.
