Difference between Block brakes and brakes?
So I've been playing this game a lot but I never understood the difference between the Block brakes and brakes, can somebody explain it a little bit?
Thanks :parksmiley:

I believe blockbrakes are there to stop the train while brakes are slowing down the train. Correct me if I'm wrong

In rct2 blockbrakes would allow you to have more than one train on the same coaster.

Block brakes are there to make sure that no more than one train is in a "block"(track section between 2 block brakes) at any given time. This allows multiple trains to safely fit on a roller coaster. Stations and lifts also count as block brakes in the RCT series and in real life, but currently not in Parkitect, which I hope they fix soon.

Block brakes split the track up into blocks only 1 train is allowed in a block at any time. A station and lift act as block brakes as well, to run 2 trains on a coaster you need 3 blocks, a station, a lift and a block brake somewhere on the track (I allways put one just before the station). since the game came out on steam I can't get more than 1 train oine a coaster using the block system that before I had 2 running.

Damm beaten to it lol.
