Moving Objects
Hey guys! I`m still new to this game but I love it so far!!! The only thing I can`t really figure out it moving objects. Once I place somthing, like a trashcan, am I able to move it to a new location, or do I have to delete it and buy a new one? The same goes for rides. Can I move it once I`ve placed it? Obviously not the coasters but the simple ones like the ferris wheel?

You need to delete it and place a new one. Note that you're usually not wasting any money by doing this since you get a full refund (at least for new objects - the older the object the less you get refunded). For moving entire coasters you can put them into a blueprint, delete the old one, then rebuild it from your blueprint.

It would be nice to have ability to move/delete benches and trash bins

It would be nice to have the ability to move rides too. If you misplace a flat ride, you have to delete it and selected it and place it again... so annoying.
Even in the first roller coaster tycoon you could move objects without having to destroy them and then rebuild them...!

It is objectively a regression.

I've now grown accustom to the delete replace method. Just grab the clone tool, copy, place and delete the old one.

The only thing I wish for is that the clone tool was just on the bottom menu as a stand alone option.

That would be a HUGE help and would really save me a lot of time.

Where is this clone tool?
Even knowing it exists I can't find it.

He means the pipette tool in the deco window, on top. its not actually cloning, it picks the same object with same color and size setting from deco window.

Oh that.
Yeah that doesn't do what I want to do.

It's cloning without DNA modifications.

I do this by creating temporary blueprints. I save everything I want to copy as a blueprint, call it '000' (that's three zeros) so it appears at the top of the blueprints list, and then I can build it as many times as I want from the blueprints tab. Then when I want to do this again, I just overwrite the old one by using the '000' name again.
