A question about janitors
How can I get them to clean shops without me constantly going to the shop and pressing the button?

Zoning the shop and assigning a janitor to that zone is currently the most reliable way to have a shop cleaned quickly once it becomes dirty. Unfortunably, it will still only be cleaned once it's dirty.

The ability to set a 'cleaning interval' or a 'cleanliness treshhold' for shops (and especially toilets) has been requested quite a lot in the past, but is currently not in the game.

Does somebody knows if high level janitors clean it earlier???

No, the threshold, when a janitor is called, is always the same.
It's the same with the toilets 8which I do micromanage every now and then...)

I remember having suggested to set the threshold myself in the past.

I find this really frustrating. If I dont keep an eye on it, toilets and shops can get to 80% dirtyness and guests complain without any intervention from staff. I have to keep checking on them myself and clicking the clean button to order a staff to do it. AFAIK there is no workaround

Everyone - it's OK if a bathroom gets to 100% dirty. Build more bathrooms, you do not have to micromanage. If your bathrooms get too dirty too often, it's a good sign you need to build more.

To add to that:
Bathrooms becoming dirty too quickly just means that there's too many people using them and janitors simply can't keep up.
So yes, it's time to build more of them then. Usually the "... is occupied" complaint is a good indicator you need more.
