Do rollercoasters always have to be a complete circuit?
In the old RCT games you could change certain rollerocasters so they didn't all have to be a full circuit. Powered Launch Mode and Reverse Inline Shuttle Launch Mode being the 2 main alternatives.

Is this in the game at all and I'm just not seeing it?

Most of the big steel coasters have LSM launch segments, which is what real coasters tend to use today (I think this technology might not have existed yet or was still very new back when RCT was released?).

They do not have to be full circuits to be opened.

Is there a way to make them powered straight out of the station though? Instead of building launched sections after its left the station.

And oh ok, that's good. I actually didn't even try opening a ride to see if it worked.

No, there are no station launches.
