Removing railings from raised paths?

Are the any community tricks out there to remove the railings from a raised piece of path without replacing it with fencing, or are there any mods available that achieve this?

You can use the Curb "fence" - works just like a normal fence (i.e. replaces default railings) but is almost invisible, especially if painted to look like the paths
