What prices are your coasters? A good coaster can easily be set to $15-$20. IF you build a good high capacity coaster, they can make lots of money. IIRC that level has the Mine Train Coaster unlocked at the start. That's a good one, as it can hold a lot of guests at once.
Otherwise, don't hire too many staff. Their wages can really add up. Don't put your queue lines too long. You don't want a $2 Carousel with 1000 guests in the queue when they could be spending money elsewhere.
Thanks. Now I know how the game works. I'm just used to how in RCT and Sim Theme Park where the entrance fees had to be increased over time.
There was only one level I could go higher than that. I forget which one it was, but it's the level where you can't charge for rides, only the park entry fee. I think I got it up to $40-$50 by the end.
Anyway, it would be a good idea to explain how prices work (at leat some hints) in the tutorial. Because before this topic, charging more than something like 6 dollars seemed impossible to me.
I'm still new to this game, so I am unsure if you would see my coaster preset. I assumed so because I saw other player made coaster presets.

I had tried thrice to heavily theme this park:
In my first attempt I wanted to make a western town. I placed rides, and started on creating a town. But I was stretched out beyond my limits, and the park failed quickly.
Attempt two minimized the 'town' theme to a ride entrance, but it too failed because I concentrated (too heavily) on theming.
Try 3 saw the "Stables" carousel morph into an actual modern stable. It was initially my cornerstone. In this same scenario I tried to do some rock work around a pre-built coaster. And turned an Twister entrance into a Bank. But I went bankrupt again.
So I went dirty. Very little theming. And the layout was a straight shot out the entrance. In other words my path layout was a straight line from end to end. No branches, save one, that was needed in order to support a mini-rail.
The log flume is crit to this scenario imo, get it in early. For me it was built before a coaster. There's a mention of it somewhere about the heat and water, if I recall correctly -- maybe someone said it on a youtube video, I can't remember exactly. Water rides help.
Either way, 2 Coin victory for this one.
These reasons are why i went with the "dirty" build. And just went for getting people on rides.
