Edit Coaster Track Segment to Add Lift or Brake?

Does the UI support selecting a coaster track segment to change it to lift or brake? If not, this would sure be useful when building more complex coasters. Easy to get into trouble trying to delete track to change to lift and then struggling to recreate the geometry as a lift segment. Thanks!

Do you mean can you edit a pre-existing track piece and replace it to be a boost or brake?

If so, not really, but you can select a track piece, delete it and replace it with a boost or brake. Assuming that part of the track allows you to do it. For example you can't delete part of a hill and replace it with a brake, because brakes have to be a straight track piece.
