Any tips for lining up coaster height to connect back to start?
Any tips for lining up coaster height to connect back to start? On my first one I was always 1/8 of a height unit off no matter what I tried.

Did you try the coaster building section in the tutorial? It has a part that explains it (can also replay just that part if you want)

I did and it didn't really help. :( I had a track that was 3 1/8 and down sloping and I wanted to get it to 3. Every option that I tried either made it below the ground (2 7/8 or less) or had a slope at 3 so that it wouldn't fit.

Need to get it a bit higher first then.
We know this can be frustrating though and will work on an improvement.

Could you please elaborate on what you mean by "need to get it a bit higher first then"?

I REALLY want this game, and have been following it for a long time. Now that it's out of early access I am about to make the purchase. But, if it's still very frustrating and non-intuitive to build coasters and buildings, then I'll wait.

What would Mr W have to do exactly to fix their problem? "Need to get it a bit higher first" is pretty vague.

I'm not being argumentative here, I REALLY want this game and hope all this can be explained easily.

Sorry for short replies, currently having my eyes on many places at once.

What he should do is get the track a bit higher first, to for example be at a 3/8 height unit or 1/4, because you can't change track elevation by 1/8 unit within a single tile currently, so you need a bit more height to work with than the 1/8 you're at.
Hope that explains it a bit better. If you played RCT 1-3 it was the same thing there, so maybe you know it from these games.

For new players this can be a bit frustrating since it's something you have to learn first but isn't super intuitive until you've done it once, so we will release an update within the next 1-2 days that should completely resolve this.
