Balloon shop bug?
Whichever park I place a balloon shop in, it always seems to allow guests to exit via the back door putting guests on a walkway which only my staff should be getting to. Does anyone else have this problem?
(I use normal paths for staff paths and use signs to stop customers from going down them, and yes I have checked they are getting there from the back of the balloon shop).

The 'normal' path in the back is the likely problem. Choosing a normal path is telling the game that guests are allowed there.
If you are blocking access thru the balloon shop with path signs disallowing guests, and it is not working, you may have to choose another option for backdoor staff access.

If you are able, I would always place 'staff' paths in the back of shops that are connected all the way to your depot. For re-stocking. And hidden by enclosing it all in a building or blocking the view with trees or other decorations.

Indeed. There is a reason why the staff paths exist.
If you are backstage in a real world park you see how vast this connection network is.

If you are too lazy for placing scenary to block the view you can always make the staff paths underground and directly access stores via a staircase.

Had a similar issue, I wondered in one park how guests came on the staff path, and it was underground and has staff path too. And had there a balloon shop too. So they walked through shop to back side?

EDIT: sry, meant how guests came on the path behind shops, ...

Guests cannot access employee paths.
An employee path is the dedicated selection from 'paths' menu.

Guests can in few cases access regular paths that are behind shops by going through the shop.
What's wrong with using employee paths to make sure that doesn't happen?

The only way to guarantee a guest cannot clip through a shop and into a staff-only area is to use the staff-only path (found under the staff path tab) behind all shops. It's not common for guests to clip through shops with regular paths behind them, but it does happen. As far as I know, you can't stop this any other way--using the "No Entry for Guests" signpost on the front of the store would stop guests from using the store, as far as I know. Save yourself the headache, use the staff-only specialty path behind the balloon shop, and move on. It's what they're meant to be used for. No Entry signs can only do so much. If insisting on using regular paths everywhere, you might try a sign across the back of the shop, pointing out towards the guest, to stop them from accessing the path even if they do clip through the shop. Again, I'm not sure if this would work, or is even worth the effort (really, just use the staff path), but it might be worth experimenting with.

If it's only the balloon shop causing this and you feel it's a bug, report it in the bug forum so the devs can look at it.

I am not against, or too lazy to, use staff paths. I just noticed this only happens with the Balloon shop and wanted to know if anyone else had noticed this or if it was something I was doing or should know.
