What computer specs needed to run Parkitect well?
What are the minimum specs to run Parkitect well and without too many delays??? I managed to install Parkitect on my 2011 Mac Mini which has the Steam minimum requirements, but it used to run with a lot of latency and was difficult to play. With the recent update to beta 1, it takes my Mac mini (with nothing else running on it) over 30 mins to load a "large" sandbox into play.
I also installed Parkitect on Steam on my Ubuntu Linux laptop - Intel Core i5 2.5GHz x 4 with 4 GB RAM, I know it's also mediocre, but Parkitect doesn't load a large sandbox AT ALL.
I am looking to buy a new desktop machine for my work and would like to know what specs to go for that will run Parkitect smoothly - without breaking the bank at the same time.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Hey,

the long loading times on Mac and Linux was a bug that was fixed in the Beta 1b update, it should load pretty quickly again now.

Usually, for Parkitect and other simulation games the CPU is more important than the graphics card, so if you want to play games like these I'd recommend spending a bit more money on a good CPU. For many other games it's the other way around though and a good graphics card is more important, so it really depends on what games you want to play and what else you want to do with your PC.

I run a (2007) Dell XPS 8300 i5-2320 @3.0GHz with 16gbs of ram. My video is Nvidia 750ti. My potato is 10 years old but still runs tough. Its a tough potato. I can play most games. Some may not look pretty like PUBG but for Parkitect it runs fine.

This box was $750 new. Upgraded total. $1200 from bestbuy on a 24 month no interest loan.

You can always download it and get a refund if it doesn't work. You have two hours to mess around. If it doesn't work, don't go over the two hours tho.
