Am I the only one attempting to play with a controller?

Hello, Ill be brief, long time iffy fan and the games they make, so I had to get this one... however I am having an issue playing the game with a conected controller and there seem to be no solutions on the internet or forums...

My controller issues
- Newly mapped controls do not stay mapped ( yes I already changed the game from 'readonly' status)
- and when I am done with the 30m oppening (which ive watched and skipped several times now)
the actual battlte tutorial, the camera either 'spins' or will not work altogether?

No other game gives me any contoller issues regardless of my configuration including Fairy Fencer F, and the Hyperdimention series.

Tried controllers -PS3 (use motionjoy)
-Ps4 (use Ds4 windows)

I use a XOne controller for every IF game and the only issue I found is in HDN that if I start the game with it unpplugged, even if I close the game in that exact moment I have to switch again in the settings to controller.
Maybe the problem is with the external programs.

Steam has started to give native support to DS4, install the beta and try again? (I think it only works with big picture right now).

I'm not having any problems with my Xbox One controller.

I took one look at the keyboard mappings and went to grab my controller. That looks way too complicated.

I'm using an xbox 360 controller and it works just fine.
